This method of dealing with problems involves handling grievances using a variety of techniques.

In the workplace, for example, conflicts help reveal problems that need to be addressed. When a conflict between two coworkers arises, it also forces them to deal with the situation and motivates them to participate or be proactive in problem solving and resolution.

On the other hand, conflict poses a problem when it hampers your productivity or lowers your morale in the workplace.
